In a time when many pharmacies are closing their doors—especially in communities that need them most—we opened ours.
When major chains pull back due to shrinking insurance reimbursements, Kentucky Pharmacy stepped up. We were born for this exact moment—when care is needed not just in theory but in real life, for real people. For immigrants, the elderly, those with disabilities, and underserved families across Louisville, true accessibility means being able to text your pharmacist and receive medication at your doorstep.
We launched not in convenience but in crisis. When others couldn’t continue, we began.
Why? Because this is when real care matters most.
Our founder, Vy Truong, saw firsthand—after serving at some of the busiest CVS and Walgreens locations in the city—that the communities she loved weren’t getting the level of care they deserved. So she built Kentucky Pharmacy not to maximize profit, but to maximize love and service. We operate on razor-thin margins, sometimes none at all, but we continue with pride.
