Pharmacy suppliers support purchasing and distribution. A supplier relationship does not eliminate shortages or confirm that a specific medicine is available for a particular patient. Our team must check the product, prescription requirements and current ordering options.
Confirm the details before making plans
- Ask whether the specific medicine and strength are currently available.
- Ask for the expected next step and timing; wait for confirmation before traveling.
- Check your plan’s coverage and your expected payment separately.
- If there is a delay, ask the pharmacist and prescriber about appropriate options. Do not change treatment on your own.
